The Time Palace

After careful deliberation, you agree to join him as a companion. Ultimately, your curiosity wins out. Plus, it would be nice not to be alone anymore.

“Grab onto my timepiece,” Kairos says calmly, “This will take us to Xylian.”

Hesitantly, you grab on to the small clock he has strapped onto his wrist and see the corridor vanish in front of you. After the mist fades, you find yourself in an elegant palace filled with clocks, elegant architecture, and metallic accents on white marble. Kairos tells you that this is the Time Palace, home to the royalty of Xylian. Your mind is racing with questions as you’re curious about how important Kairos must be in order to have transport access into the palace.

You then turn to see Kairos, who appears to be almost shimmering with magical energy. As you open your mouth to ask him many questions, he is pulled into a nearby corridor by someone who appears to be influential.
