The Clockmakers

The Rusted Lockbox

You choose the lockbox for its alluring properties. The small, rusted container appears to be holding untold secrets. Although the scroll is alluring in its own right, you cannot help but to be curious about what might lie inside. Before you investigate further, you notice a small inscription on the side of the box reading, “I open for two.” You notice Vigil on the other side of the room, examining some bookshelves deep in thought, and wonder if it is appropriate for you to invade his space. You don’t know him all too well, but at the same time, the inscription reads “...for two”

Do you try to break it open alone so that you don’t disturb Vigil?

Or do you ask Vigil for help?
